For many of the people involved in a construction project, fire protection is a hot potato, because fire protection - along with sound and heat insulation - is one of the most important goals in construction technology. The model pipe system guideline (MLAR) describes the current state of the art across Germany. It covers the requirements for preventive fire protection in construction. The TECE system technology puts these technical requirements into practice.
The question of whether there is an optimum solution for fire protection requirements in TECEprofil walls or ducts comes up again and again. The optimum solution is ceiling partition. If the ceiling partition principle is applied, TECEprofil and TECEregister offer a practical, low-cost solution for fire protection. In addition to the technical advantages, the openness of the system is particularly beneficial. This permits long-term fire protection that meets practical requirements.
The area is split into fire compartments. The required safety is achieved if the transitions to the next fire compartment are executed with care.
