The TECEflex pipes are permanently connected with the fittings via an axial pressing technology. Only the pipe plastic is used as the seal. No further aids such as O-rings or sealing tape are required. The O-ring free joining technology is extremely error-tolerant and particularly hygienic.
To create a TECEflex connection, the pipe must first be expanded. The fitting is then inserted in the prepared pipe and the pressure sleeve is pushed over the expanded pipe up to the fitting collar.
The TECEflex composite pipes are linked with PE-Xc inner pipe cross-linked with an electron beam. The material PE-Xc is characterized by a particularly strong memory effect. This means that after the pipe has been expanded, the material shrinks back onto the fitting support. The pressure seal additionally secures the connection.
Advantages of the TECEflex joining technology at a glance
- Error-tolerant O-ring free joining technology
- Particularly hygienic connection as there are no gaps in which water can stagnate
- Low pressure loss as the inner diameter of the fitting and pipe are practically the same
- The axial pressing technology makes no demands on the maintenance state of the pressing technology. Sleeve at front - connection tight.
