Domestic engineering specialist TECE has demonstrated real innovativeness in product design: the TECEsquare toilet push plate has been awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2010.

TECE, the domestic engineering specialist, has acquired the coveted quality seal with the red dot. The Red Dot Design Award 2010 went to the TECEsquare toilet push plate. This innovative toilet push plate with the new-type switching technology and only a 2 millimetre deep front of brushed stainless steel was presented to the general public for the first time in the spring of 2009. It immediately went down well with the experts. In fact on being presented for the first time, the TECEsquare was awarded the 2009 Design Plus prize of the German Design Council and the Frankfurt Trade Fair. It was then nominated for the Red Dot Design Award 2010. Thanks to the third design prize - the Red Dot Award - TECEsquare has now definitely established itself as a true design highlight.
