The Drainbase sound proofing mat optionally available provides additional sound insulation. Just 6 mm thick, it is ideal for use in shower designs with a low installation height.

The positive sound-absorbent properties are substantiated by an expert opinion on sound insulation. Thus the installation sound level for a normal shower setting is 23 dB. The mat is extremely durable, and the compression at 15t/m² is a maximum of 10 %. Subsequent lowering of the screed is thus prevented.

Drainbase is made of high-tensile, rubber granules bound with PUR elastomer on a recycled basis.
