Good design does not only mean added value for customers but is also an aspect in terms of sustainability. A long life cycle is programmed when function combines with aesthetics. This is the reason why TECE attaches great importance to good design. With success: The novel WC terminal has been awarded three renowned design prizes.
The ‘Best of SHK Award’ was awarded in the course of the ISH for the first time this year. TECE boss Thomas Fehlings was awarded the prize in the ‘Management’ category. Lauded were entrepreneurial spirit, inventiveness and the corporate strategy geared to continual growth.
TECE presented themselves with shower channels, toilet flushing tanks and sanitary wall constructions for the first time at the BAU in Munich, the leading trade show for architecture. The trade visitors were above all interested in the possibility of integrating flushing tanks and shower channels in bathroom architecture.
Since 2003 TECE Baltikum – located in Lithuania – has also been active in Latvia. Up till now an importer has supplied the Latvian wholesalers with TECE products. In order to ensure a high level of distribution of their products, TECE Baltikum opened their own branch office in Riga.
Domestic engineering specialist TECE has demonstrated real innovativeness in product design: the TECEsquare toilet push plate has been awarded the Design Plus prize 2010.
